Profiling the devices on your network allows you to dynamically identify them and classify them by type. With this information, you can provision security policies for each type of device as it connects to your network. Connect a printer and have it dynamically added to your “Printers” group and placed into your “Printers” VLAN. Add a security camera and have it added to your “Physical Security Devices” group and placed into your “Facilities” VLAN.
